Who we are

Oréa is a small lab. A handful of veterinary nutritionists, agronomists, and people who genuinely care, all sharing one belief: a cat isn't a decoration. It's a member of the family, and it deserves for someone to take its food seriously.

Why we exist

Feline nutrition has been treated carelessly for a long time. For decades, cats were fed whatever was on hand, then whatever the industry decided to put in a bag. Almost no one stopped to ask whether any of it matched their biology.

We did. For the past 8 years, we've been studying what a cat actually needs: what its body digests, what it absorbs, what it can't use, and above all what goes missing when it lives entirely indoors. We read the veterinary literature, we test, we compare, we start over. Most of our work leads nowhere. The work that does becomes a product.

How we work

We're small, and we intend to stay that way. No shareholders to please, no volume to move at any cost. We develop few products, and nothing leaves the lab until our scientific team signs off. What we can't validate, we don't sell — even when it's ready, even when it would have sold.

What we believe

A healthy cat is a cat someone bothered to understand. Our job isn't to sell you one more thing. It's to give back what indoor life took away from your animal, based on what the science actually shows — not on what markets well.
